Digger of Dirt, Good Pollution and Petra von Kan’t
May 18 @ 9:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Digger of Dirt takes the ambitions, the ego, and the id of humanity and puts it on notice with painful observations, sharp criticism, and crushing satirical takes that cut through the nerve and straight to the bone. The band’s music is an amalgam of everything from radio friendly pop-punk, to old-school outlaw country, to classic metal. The storytelling lyrics and clean vocals evoke a sense of yesteryear from the likes of Motown, Elvis Presley, and Johnny Cash.
The origins for Digger of Dirt began as a 2020 Quarantine pipedream of Shelby Taylors’ (lead vox/rhythm guitarist/songwriter) who, after a 15-year hiatus from performing, began recording some rough demos, which can now be heard on all music streaming services under the title: Dirty Tracks from the Quarantine E.P. In late spring of 2022, a friend of Shelby’s, Dana Johnson (Drums), invited her to partake in co-opting a ‘jam space’ alongside a 3rd member, Emma Ruth (bass/back-up vox) They were quickly joined by Robi Remorah (lead guitar) and Natalie Hill (keys). After almost exactly a year, the band was offered their first gig in early March 2023, and they’ve been quickly gaining fans and gigs since then.
